FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How old does my child have to be to attend Kids 4Christ?

A. Three years old and must be able to use the bathroom independently.

Q. How can I teach my child about God?

A. The first step is to read the Bible with your child. Everything we need to know about God is in the Bible. We recommend using a kid friendly version of the Bible. Here are a few to get you started. 1. Day by Day Begin-to-READ BIBLE (ages 3-6) 2. Day by Day Kid’s Bible (ages 7- 12)

Q. What is the best way to help my child read his or her Bible on a regular basis?

A. Choose a Bible that is age appropriate. Read with your child. You might consider a Bible that has a day by day format. Most importantly let your child see you reading your Bible. Kids learn the most by observing their parents.

Q. What curriculum is used in my child’s classroom?

A. We use Group Publishing for our curriculum. Faith Weaver is used in the first service and Kids own Worship is used in the second service.

Q. What Bible is used in my child’s classroom?

A. We use the NLT Hands on Bible.

Q. What is churches role in helping my child grow as a Christian?

A. We believe that the primary responsibility of raising children who know and love the Lord is with the parents. In Ephesians 6:4 the apostle Paul writes “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Our role as a church is to support parents and walk with you as you raise your child. If you have any questions or would like more information about our Youth Ministries you can speak with your child’s teacher or a Youth Ministry Coordinator.
