Bucks for Ducks
Billie Joe Flynn
You may have heard, we are colleting money to buy ducks for families who are living in poverty and do not have enough food to eat.
Families who receive the ducks will benefit from hundreds of large, protein-rich eggs all year long. Extra duck eggs and hatched ducklings can be sold to buy medicine or help send a child to school.
The ducks also offers valuable down-feathers, famous for their thermal insulation and padding — great for use in bedding materials and warm clothing, or to fetch much-needed income at the market.
Ducks even produce fertilizer that can dramatically increase crop yields!
Working with the organization World Vision our goal will be to buy 100 ducks in the year 2011.
Wow, that’s a lot of ducks!
*How much do these ducks cost you might ask? Each duck will cost $6.00.
*How can I help you might ask? You can help your child gather change from around
the house or help him/her find ways to earn extra money.
Most importantly pray together. Pray for families in need. Ask God how he would like to use you and your child to feed hungry families through out the world.

Parents Night Out Rocks
Baylee Flynn
Parents night out was a blast!
We made ornaments for the tree while Miss. Evangeline prepared the meal. I loved
the gingerbread people.
The meal was grand. We ate spaghetti and garlic bread. For desert we had indoor s’mores, cupcakes and whoopee pies.
We had fun playing air hockey and foosball. Nobody was left out . Congrats to Avery Picket who won the
Present Prize . (astronaut ice cream)
There was a gift shop and I picked out the perfect gifts for my entire family .
I think we should do this again really soon.
